Dates: 12 Apr 2025, 10 May 2025 will be held at the St Ignace High School, with the 10 May meeting covering finishes.
14 June 2025 location and topic to be determined.
12 July 2025 will be held at members house with a coloring demo by Dr. Marc Hines of the Marquette Club.
9 August 2025 will be held at a members house with Paul Neuberg of the Detroit club as guest speaker on turning square platters.
13 September 2045, 11 October 2025, 8 November 2025 will be held back at the St Ignace High School.
Remember the $25 dues are due at the June meeting.
Note: During the summer the school's shops will be under construction and the summer meetings will be held elsewhere. Once known, I will post the location here. Thanks for you patience during the school construction.
Meetings are held at the Saint Ignace Lasalle Highe School wood shop located at: W443 Portage St, St Ignace, MI 49781
Meetings start at 9:00 am and we try to get out by noon.
Agenda: General Business, Show and Tell, Bring Backs auction and finally a shop demonstration (if availlable).
Show and Tell: A time for members to show and explain some of the recent works, problems encounterd and solutions they have develoed.
Bring Back Auction: A chance for members to bring in raw material, semi finished material or finished materials that will be auctions of to the audiance by drawing tickets from a container. Each ticket costs $1.
Shop Demonstration: The club has several lathes and other tools available to them in the schools woodshop. The club has its own lathe with a cagage for demonstrations. The cage is equipped with monitors and the club tries to record and publish to the blog videos of the demonstrations.
